Do you have an ESV "bible"? Do you consider it the words of God? If so, then it should be pure, perfect, no lies in it, for no lie is of the truth, right? Right.
Well then, open it to Mark 1. Mark 1:2-3 quotes two verses from the Old Testament. Isaiah 40:3 and Malachi 3:1. A prophecy regarding John the Baptist. So the ESV bible that you are reading says "As it is written in Isaiah the prophet" and then quotes the verse in Malachi too, well then that is a lie right there and you have a counterfeit and not the word of God, for no lie is of the truth. For the truth is: KJB-PCE "As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight." See? The King James Bible PCE is right. And the ESV is WRONG. Here are the verses that are being quoted there. As you can see, it's PROPHETS - plural. Not just Isaiah. Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shallprepare the way before me: and the Lord, whomye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. Isaiah 40:3 ¶ The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. But you think it's okay. WHEN YOUR STUPID ASS DROPS IN HELL FIRE, ASK YOURSELF, WAS IT OKAY?
